Editor on iPhone scroll is broken

    I noticed that trying to scroll in the Post Editor was having issues on mobile, and discovered that disabling Autoptimize solved this.

    To replicate, edit a long post (with content longer than the screen), and try to scroll the editor.

    Turning off the metabox option fixes this

    that’s .. interesting. so the problem is you can’t scroll in the post edit field on long posts when the metabox option is active on iphone, right?

    question; are you using the block editor or a page builder or the classic editor topdownjimmy ?

    OK, tested editing a long page (autoptimize.com/pro) in the block editor on an iPhone 14 (iOS 16.1) but encountered no issues, so this might be a conflict with one (or more) other plugins also adding metaboxes maybe? what other (non-core) metaboxes do you see on the edit screen?

    Hm strange. I had disabled all other plugins and Safari extensions, and switched to the Twenty Twenty-Three theme to test this. The problem only returned when I re-activated Autoptimize.

    strange indeed. what iPhone, what version of iOS and what Safari version are you using? I’ll test with that exact setup on browserstack.
