Hi!
I have the same problem. I have followed the instructions on https://docs.elementor.com/article/189-having-problems-using-elementor-start-here but the problem doesn´t solve with any of those solutions, and I´m not a Facebook user so I cannot ask there…
I have tried to uninstall my theme, and then it works correctly, but when I activate the theme, it stays on loading mode indefinitely as @awalquirya says.
My system info:
https://pastebin.com/Rqss2Qcm
Thank you so much for your help!!
Don’t know if my situation is similar enough, so for whatever it is worth:
Upon the first loading of Elementor (and only that first, especially if a post/page hasn’t been saved/named yet), elementor will get stuck on the loading screen (loading “e” icon)………….invariably clicking on that “e” will allow elementor to load. Could be unique to my situation (experienced on various sites).
For me this worked:
Under Elementor > Settings > Advanced switch editor loader method on
changed theme and then back, cleared all cache.
After that it worked again.
Did you also try going to theme panel> scripts and styles and save that again?
Then clear all cache?
Imortant:
Forgot to mention that I was advised to add this to the .htaccess file (on top)
LimitRequestBody 99999999999
SubstituteMaxLineLength 10M
*that* really made a difference! perhaps some wizard can explain what these entries actually do, but they sure work!
Thanks guys!
Tried everything. Didn’t work 🙁
@logologics I thought you were saying the cache from my site.
Well, I tried to load Elementor from another browser and it actually worked. So I cleared all my browser’s cache and now it is working just fine :).
Thanks guys!
@basspower did you get it to work?

@ Peteraloha,
I googled ”
“LimitRequestBody 99999999999
SubstituteMaxLineLength 10M”
and found this topic:

here’s what’s happened if anyone else runs into this I’m a bit wasn’t having issues until I digress. I went to do an install on a random creating that random subdomain I went in and set up Let’s Encrypt SSL. When I got to those settings in SG I see that Http Force and External Links Rewrite was switched turned them off and Wha-La… It’s working.
Are you by any chance on SG ( SiteGround hosting )?
Maybe this happens at other hosting too, but this might be a clue?

Thanks, Annie, for bringing some specifics into my dropping of the “formula”, and YES, this is what SG support (they are *the best*, hands down!) has suggested. Inserting those 2 lines on top (or bottom) of the .htaccess file has *invariably* resolved the initial issue with loading Elementor. – as mentioned, there is still an occasional issue upon the *first time* loading of a new page/post…………which is *never* occurring repeatedly later on.
Aha, good to know!
I tried SG for a year and indeed they are amazing.
Still returned to my trusted host in the Netherlands after that, because they are amazing too and lots of clients ( for whome I arange their hosting ) prefer a host that can provide support in Dutch.
