    Thank you 🙂

Did you switch from another SEO plugin? Some add HTML support for categories (because Yoast SEO also does it), but I don’t believe this feature belongs in an SEO plugin.

You can add it to your site using this for-purpose plugin which is actually safe: https://wordpress.org/plugins/visual-term-description-editor.

That plugin still works perfectly with the latest WordPress versions; you can ignore the warning about it being a year old.

Alternatively, you can add HTML support for terms to your site using this snippet, but it won’t come with a fancy visual editor: https://woocommerce.com/document/allow-html-in-term-category-tag-descriptions/.

I switched from yoast. But i have also a second description under pagination and in this there is the editor. Only in the product categories main description is missing.

So if i understand well the editor tools are missing by default from woocommerce product categories and yoast add this wp editor tools. Ok thanks, by the way i can not understand why editor is missing by default…this is extremely basic thing to have an editor to insert links and etc. Thanks for the replies.I read a lot about your great support keep it like this.

    Hello!

I also do not understand why they are missing. Terms haven’t gotten as much attention in the past ten years, let alone the past six, with all eyes on the Block Editor.

This ticket that would include this feature by default got buried away: https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/20901. Perhaps I should reopen it.
