• I keep getting “the editor has encountered an expected error” when I try to update a blog post or go back into an old already-published post. It is getting increasingly more frequent. I have tried disabling each plugin and the problem still persists. I even downloaded the ‘disable Gutenberg’ plugin but I had problems using the Classic Editor (didn’t allow me ot copy and paste anything!).
Has anyone else had this problem? How can I trouble shoot or fix this? I am using Origin Mag theme for my site.

  • You install and activate the gutenberg plugin. Is the easiest method at this time !

I’m also having this issue and it’s almost instant the second I choose to write a post. I have no choice but to use the classic editor.

This error is common when using localhost.
Please install the plugin gutenberg, which will resolve the error!
    Remember to activate gutenberg.
I often use this way and good results!

Gutenberg is part of WordPress core now. I believe that makes the plugin version of Gutenberg obsolete. Could @ashadahya’s issue be a plugin or Theme conflict?

I found that the gutenberg plugin at this time is currently going ahead, before integrating into wordpress core.
so the errors will be fixed faster.
