This is a method of accessing the files on your host webserver. Apache webservers usually run cpanel which is common but there are other systems. Your cPanel may include file management software which can be used. * If this means nothing to you, you may need to contact your host’s support service to ask for a FTP username and password. Then you will need to get some FTP software. When you signed up to Hostgator, its likely that they sent you an email with your cpanel login details. If not, you need to put in a support ticket asking for access. Your settings for dazzling are in the database and will be retained. WordPress should automatically switch to the default theme. Hopefully that will let you back in to the admin page.
