# Editor became code

 * After update plugin to 4.5.1 my editor became like this

 * 1 editor became code
    2 can’t add new block 3 can’t manage block
 * I try to deactivate and activate once and not work, Delete plugin and download
   install still not work. how to solve this problem thank you.

 * I have the exact same problem and the above fix does not work for me. Please 
   don’t close this ticket.
 * The “Disable the visual editor” box is not checked in my profile. If I try and
   check it and Save (in the hope that it will switch off and back on), it reverts
   to being unchecked after saving.
 * I’ve had to install the Classic Editor plugin (which disables Gutenberg) just
   to post anything at all. Right now Gutenberg is completely broken for me.

 * Please don’t close this ticket. I have the same problem with a specific subdomain
   in my multi-site – the other subdomains seem to work fine, but one specific one
   only shows code in the block (similar to above screeenshot), with no ability 
   to change the block, add a new one or view with visual or code editor (visual
   and code editor are actually missing in the tools and options dropdown). I want
   to convert my existing posts in this subdomain to Gutenberg blocks, but have 
   no idea how to get this particularly subdomain to work.
