 * I’m not sure when this happened but now I can’t edit any of the text in the widget.

   I went to make a change, and noticed the name of the widget changed, but there
   was no ability to drop down and actually edit the text anymore. When I drop down,
   from the widget area where it lives, the wysiwyg edit area is gone. Has this
   edit area been moved to a settings page or is there another plugin interfering
   with it’s display somehow? Thank you

 * Ok. This is “resolved”.
    I just tested another site where the edit area is still
   there just fine. I suspect it is related to a new feature of wp-client adding
   a “show on” specific wp-client pages for widgets, as that is a change log new
   feature, and the site i have not updated to this feature still works fine for
   black studio visual editor. I have asked them to remove this feature or instruct
   how to disable if possible, to see if it restores the visual editor area, since
   so many good plugins let you define what pages to put widgets on already.

 * Thanks for the report and the update. I own a WP-Client license so I will try
   to make some tests.

 * They just fixed it with 3.6.6!
    I confirmed with their developers that the current
   update should fix it and they did. What they did is recently add a box to widgets
   to select which “WP-Client” pages the widgets appear on. Initially there was
   bug in the code that gave errors and also interfered with editing content in
   widgets but it seems fixed now. I asked them to consider making this feature
   optional since I don’t need it (since there’s widget logic and so many other
   options to manage where they show up) and I’m not sure about a hook into my widgets
   I can’t turn off since I’m not using or needing it, but maybe others could..
   As long as the defaults are to leave them alone.. 🙂

 * I have the same problem. The wysiwyg area is gone in the black studio tinymc
   widget. Could you tell me how this can be fixed? I do not own a WP-Client license…
 * Thanks in advance!

 * Do you have any other plugins that manage widgets? It may not be wp-client, it
   could be any plugin that is designed to manage widgets interfering with it.

   The clue for me is I saw wp-client code in the area where I usually do my tinymce
   edits. If you go to Appearance->Widgets, is there anything else showing up where
   you would normally edit, like a drop-down or control from a different, recently
   installed or recently updated plugin?

 * I’m afraid there is not any other plugin interfering with it. All the other plugins
   I use as widgets were there for a year and have not changed.
 * But spurprise……I checked it this morning and suddenly the wysiwig area is there
   again??? Very strange…
 * Thanks anyhow bitpath!

 * Glad to hear that the problem is gone. I suppose it was some odd brwoser cache
   issue.
