# Editing WordPress Default

 * We are running the WordPress Default 2830 theme and someone made an edit a while
   ago which inserted a .gif onto the front page that you can see [here](http://www.fitchburghistoricalsociety.org/).
 * What I want to do is update the .gif for a more recent exhibit, but I can’t seem
   to find any place in my dashboard where I can edit that section and I installed
   Optics Frameworks but it says that my theme does not support it.
 * I have searched around for help on the subject and honestly I can’t find much
   of anything.

 * – There is no such default theme as”2830″ in the wordpress.org/themes/ directory:

 * – These forums are for free themes available in the WordPress theme directory
   at wordpress.org/themes/. So please go to their official support channel, so 
   you can get support from the people who know it best. Forum volunteers are also
   not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why it is not
   working properly. Other community members who may have faced your issue might
   be able to help you but your best bet is your product’s developer. Keep in mind
   we encourage you to use the official support venues, as it allows the developers
   to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more

 * I’m pretty new at navigating this website. What is their official support channel?
   Going through WordPress just prompts me to post on the public forums again and
   that isn’t what I should be doing? Should I be going through the IRC channel 
   or just trying to email someone directly in hopes that I get the right person?
 * [This ](http://i.imgur.com/b7Atv1R.png)is the theme that my site is currently
   using. I’m new and have made some minor adjustments to the site but figuring 
   this out has been a headache.
