    When editing files using CodeMirror there’s no longer a cursor, cannot type anything in the files, can only highlight the text. Cannot close file with the X; but I can close the file with Cancel, Save As, Save, and Save & Close.

    Using Filester File Manager Pro Version 1.7.3 by Ninja Team with WordPress Version 5.8.1

    The only thing you would see is my pointer’s movement and highlighting. It wouldn’t be helpful.

    Hi @john316 ,

    Maybe there is a conflict with other plugins or theme, please deactivate them and check the issue again. Or you can try ACE Editor or TextArea.

    I deactivated all plugins except Filester File Manager Pro Version 1.7.3., and here is what I found.

    In every type of editor:
    – you cannot move the editor window from the top
    – you cannot expand the editor window from the bottom-right corner
    – you cannot click the “x”, “-“, and “+” symbols
    – you CAN click the Cancel, Save As, Save & Close, and Save

    In ACE Editor:
    – the cursor is blinking; I click the mouse and the cursor disappears
    – you cannot highlight
    – you cannot type

    In CodeMirror:
    – the cursor is blinking; I click the mouse and the cursor disappears
    – you CAN highlight
    – you cannot type

    In TextArea:
    – you CAN see the cursor blinking all the time
    – you CAN highlight
    – you CAN type
