Editing Theme css in Editor does take effect

When I edit my theme’s CSS file as shown in https://skitch.com/chirag/ffpfk/editthemes, it does not take effect when I load the page. I get there by going to
Appearance > Editor. When I go toAppearance > Customisethis Theme, those changes do take effect. Any ideas? Thanks!
