• I want to edit the layout of the product page but cannot find how to do this.
I hoped it was easy, but it seems I need a lot of php knowlege to manage this.

The standard layout is left the featured image and the description and price to the right.
What I want is a header, custom per product (so love to have that set by the featured image. And a gallery of 3 of 4 images under it on the left (in a grid) and the description and price to the right.

An sketch to see what I want: http://jmp.sh/Q2b6vHo
It is also weird that the feature image now, is that tall. How can that be?

Hoped there is some kind of plugin to edit the layout of Woo-pages. But hav not found it.
    Just hardcore PHP stuff.

Hope the WP forum can proof its powerrrr…

I would suggest you find a theme that already has that type of layout. It would be easier than for you to manipulate it yourself if you’re not keen on PHP/HTML/CSS

    Sounds like a great hack.
So I can lend the code form that site?
Where do I find what code is edited and what is the source of it?

So no. What I mean is to use the theme that already has that layout, not copy the code from them.

Ah check. I am afraid that is not an option.
I use a theme that I love to use for the rest of the great features and layout. It is just this single page that needs a little work.

Yeah unfortunately then you would have to modify the templates and move things around etc.

    I do think so.
But how? Wat is the most practical resource to see what to move from where to where?

I also found a bunch of shortcodes http://docs.woothemes.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/
Can’t I do things with that on product page level?

Unfortunately this kind of change requires lots of coding to make work. You can start by studying the template files within WooCommerce plugin.
