 * I’m new to WordPress and have been learning how to update a site in WordPress
and got the basics of it all figured out, but I’m stuck on what file I need to
edit and how I should edit it in order to change part of my template.
    On the
home page there is a section which has 3 blog posts which are 2 lines from the
blog post and they are clickable to the blog page, I don’t want the blog posts
there, I want to list 3 text statements instead, so i thought i’d just list the
statments as individual blog posts and that’s fine but they are clickable, which
I don’t want. So I either need to be able to make them unlinked, so they look
like statements/text only, OR ideally remove the Posts section from the theme,
on the home page, and replace it with just a text box. I have no idea how to
do either of those. Is there an easy way for a beginner to do this? Thanks very
   much for any guidance.
