editing stylesheet, lost page content

    I was changing the header on my site and ran into an issue. I was able to restore it to it’s previous header but then lost the entire content of my pages…
    I was not editing anything except my image file (using stylesheet and FTP client for image location–also temporarily changed image in the page, header, home template). Any advice? I am a newbie and was not able to determine the problem myself with firebug.

    Not able to get help from the person who originally installed the info…in a huge crunch. So thank you in advance!

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    Problem resolved! It was a ‘ around the image coding. Thanks for the help. Learning that the smallest error can make a big difference.
