I’ve added a few classes to the styles.css file, but they aren’t implemented on the website. What are possible reasons for this, and how do I go about adding styles?

  • Can you post a link to your site? Also, be aware that if you edit the theme’s stylesheet, you’ll lose those changes if the theme is ever updated in the future. WordPress 4.7 comes with a built-in custom CSS area at Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS, or you can use a child them or a custom CSS plugin.

Thanks, the builtin css customization works.
