I have no idea how to use it properly. For example: I want a low opacity bar displaying my logo (just like in the first picture) and columns like the website showed. But all I got was 10 copies of one example text and that’s it. * Now I’m sure this is a great theme with lots of posibilities. But I am dumbfounded right now and can’t manage to explore those at all right now. * Any help would be incredibly appreciated! Like in the template. * [Michael](https://wordpress.org/support/users/mh-themes/) * (@mh-themes) * [10 years, 5 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/editing-squared/#post-6636123) * What is shown on your screenshot isn’t a search widget, it seems to be a widget that comes with the theme and you’ve just added _“Search Widget”_ as title for the widget. * That won’t work out of course because the widget you are using doesn’t have anything to do with the search widget that comes by default with any WordPress installation. So if you want to use a search widget, you’ll need to place the **search widget** in your sidebar and not a different widget. * If you are still new to WordPress, we highly recommend some basic WordPress tutorials, because for a smooth experience it probably would be better if you get an overview of basic WordPress knowledge before starting to configure your website. But nowhere on your documentation was any of this stated however.
