# Editing source strings

 * Hello, so I’ve translated the entire template in dokan lite, however, some strings
   I can only find in “Dokan Pro”, where I am advised that it’s dangerous to change
   them. What should I do, considering I really need to translate those strings?

 * I’m using loco translate, and this is the warning:
 * Warning: This is NOT a translation file. Manual editing of source strings is 
   not recommended.
 * Should I just download the file once I translated it, and keep it in case it 
   gets overriden by wordpress?

 * Though this forum is for Dokan Lite only, the general guideline for translation
   files is to keep them under the wp-content/languages/plugins folder so that plugin
   updates does not remove the files.
