[Resolved] Editing Signature PNG Image

  • I have a signature created for my website. I don’t want to use a plugin to add it to the posts. I prefer to add the image manually. This way I can control where it is located. However, when I use it there is a gray border around it. How can I get rid of the border. I have searched for a solution online with no success. Thank in advance.

  • using this style might work:

    img.wp-image-307 {border: none; padding:0; }

    btw: the background color of the post/page is #f7f7f7 so your white image stands out.;

    Can I add this line of code to the child theme? Will that fix the problem? You mentioned the background color. I like the white. However, could I change that to fix the problem?

    Thanks in advance.

    yes, the style goes into style.css of the child theme, and should hopefully solve teh problem –
    don’t forget to clear the browser cache (‘reload’ or press ‘ctrl f5’)if you can’t see the changes immediately.

    ignore my remark about the background color – has nothing to do with your problem.

    Thanks.
    The problem is fixed.
