  • I’ve tried a few ways to make my twentytwelve child theme header and nav bar to look and act as desired, but I’m having some issues. Below is what I’m trying to do.

    – have logo over left column, tagline over right, main column, have nav menu aligned over right, main column (left edge lined up with tagline) see pic here (http://www.zynniebakes.com/zynniebakes_dev/here/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/nav.jpg)

    – have header (image and nav bar) maintain it’s responsiveness
    – have nav bar scale nicely on mobile sites

I’ve tried making a custom header, but it loses the responsive properties. I’ve also tried styling the nav on the style.css, but when I add in padding, etc. it doesn’t scale down nicely. The current nav with little styling here -http://www.zynniebakes.com/zynniebakes_dev/here/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/nav_unstyled.tiff

Does anyone know the best way to style the nav menu to match the 1st screenshot and keep its responsiveness on mobile devices?
