The “Entries” tab shows the previously submitted entries for a form.
I click on “Edit” for a selected entry, it opens the entry and I modify the entry in the repeater field. The calculated field is reset to “0” and stays “0” no matter what I do. The total field also resets to “0”.
The calculated fields are greyed out and can’t be edited, but they also don’t recalculate.

I have another entry with a completely wrong total, but it doesn’t recalculate. When I tried to edit the repeater items (deleting and reentering) they did not calculate subtotals either. So the entry now has lines with “0” as subtotal, and a grand total that is completely wrong.

    Hello!

The edit feature in the entries screen is meant for admins to freely edit each record individually, it doesn’t execute calculations or conditional logics.

If the entry were submitted with an wrong total though perhaps there is an issue with the formula that has to be fixed, if this is the case please create another thread explaining the formula that you are using.

    Regards!

    Hello Edgar,
Thank you for getting back to me about this.
But of course your answer is in no way satisfactory. And the problem certainly doesn’t qualify as “Resolved”.
The problem that I pointed out is that I as Admin can access and modify submitted forms, but I **can’t** modify the calculated fields, and the calculated fields also don’t recalculate.
So if the visitor submits a form with a chosen item of ¥3,500 and a number of 1 with a subtotal of ¥3,500 and I as Admin modify the form to a number of 2 the subtotal remains ¥3,500 and does not change to ¥7,000, and I can not change it myself.

The behavior of this should be changed in one of the following ways:
[A] let the admin change the form and make sure calculated fields recalculate
    OR
[B] let the admin change the form as well as the calculated fields
    OR
[C] block the admin from changing the form (perhaps limit to deletion)

Obviously I would think [A] best, but [B] might be okay.
The current behavior is a serious BUG!

And just to be clear the main reason I am complaining about this is that the forms constantly miscalculated. But I will be happy to start another thread about that later.
