I have a wordpress website, hostinger as the host, and elementor as the editor. I have tried using a template through astra and edit it to my needs. However, after the theme is chosen and I edit and publish to save, I switch pages and when I go back to the original page i edited, all of the edits disappear. I have tried this dozens of times and I’m at the end of my rope. It feels like I paid almost 200 dollars for four years for nothing. I really need some help with live support. Let’s get this sorted out for you. * What you’re describing (edits published, but then missing when you come back to the page) is almost always caused by one of these, rather than anything wrong with the theme itself: * 1. Caching is showing you an old version * This is the most common cause. Your host (Hostinger) or a caching/CDN plugin may be serving a cached copy of the page instead of your latest edit. * Clear Hostinger’s cache from your hPanel → Website → Caching → Clear Cache If you have any caching plugin installed (WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, etc.), clear its cache too Then open the page in an incognito/private browser window to check if your edits are actually there * 2. You may be editing a “template” instead of the page itself * If you imported an Astra Starter Template through Elementor, it’s possible the edits are being made to a template file (under Templates in Elementor) rather than the actual page. Double-check that when you click Edit, you’re editing the page itself and not a saved template that isn’t linked to that page. * 3. Elementor autosave/revision conflict * Sometimes Elementor’s autosave can hold an older draft. After I switch pages, like from ex: home, to contact me, itll delete everything. It could be option number 2, but I don’t know how to remedy that at all. This lets you jump straight to editing another page without leaving the Elementor editor first — and that’s very likely what’s causing your problem. * When you click one of those page links while your current page still has unsaved or unpublished changes, Elementor is supposed to warn you with a “You have unsaved changes” pop-up before it lets you leave. If that warning doesn’t appear (or gets missed), navigating away through that panel can discard whatever hasn’t actually been published yet on the page you’re leaving. * **A few things to check** * 1. When you make an edit, are you clicking the blue **Publish** button or are you relying on autosave only? Autosave keeps a draft in Revisions, but it does** not** publish your change to the live page — only Publish does that. 2. After clicking Publish, try switching pages using that same “Recent” panel and then coming back. If the edit holds this time, that confirms it’s a publish-timing issue rather than caching or a template problem. 3.
