Editing PHP files some guidance please

    Hi

    I’ve created my child theme, and have also made a change to one of the plugin php files. I kept the original file in its plugin folder… and the changed file i uploaded to my child theme… however its not taking effect? What am i doing wrong?

    Above is not the proper method. A Child Theme is used with a Parent theme. It can be used to create custom function, actions, hooks, etc, but not in the manner as described above. Review these topics at the Codex, please…
