 * This is driving me up the fucking wall.
 * I had a page titled “projects”, for some reason the permalink was displayed as“
   projects-2”.
 * I edited the permalink for it just to say “projects”, but then the page stops
   functioning.
 * When I replaced the number at the end of the permalink, the page started working
   again!
 * So I completely deleted my projects page, emptied all the trash, and created
   a new projects page… When I publish it I get the exact same fucking problem.
 * What is the fix?
 * Thanks

 * this issue often can be resolved by fixing the slug in the database.
    do you
   have access to phpmyadmin in your webhosting?

 * No. I take it i have to download and install the software first. I’m not familiar
   with a lot of the jargon. Are there any other options?
 * It’s strange. I created a new page titled “work”, which was fine. But then when
   I tried to change the slug/permalink back to “projects”, I got the same _nothing
   found_ webpage.

 * who is the company hosting your website?
    depending on the hosting company, there
   should not be anything to download to get to phpmyadmin section of your hosting.
   phpmyadmin is the way to get to your database.

 * Glad you were able to find it.
 * I don’t know the name of your database(s) so I am not sure which one to tell
   you to use. For a normal page, it is found in the WP-Posts table.

 * Let me know if you can find the WP-Posts table that corresponds with your website.

 * Hi,
 * I can’t seem to find any WP-Posts table in the database. I’m trying to figure
   out where the slugs are stored so I can edit them.

   its up to date or not, and how do I update?
