• Is it possible to edit other pages, for example an email sign up confirmation page, using the home page tools? I would like to use the icon menu and possibly the call to action features.

Can I do this if I upgrade to premium?

Or am I best off using a page builder like Elementor and just using their widgets?

    Thanks!

  • Hey,

    Using the Page Builder plugin:
    https://www.kadencethemes.com/using-page-builder/

You can set a few widgets in the free theme. Relative to the premium theme though, the widgets are limited.

Take a look at that tutorial and let me know if you find it helpful.

Thanks, Kevin. I did watch that video, but I don’t find Page Builder to be very intuitive. I tried building the same page with Page Builder and with Elementor, and Elementor was much easier and more effective to work with.

Working on the backend is difficult because I don’t know what my changes are going to look like, so there’s a lot of back and forth testing.

I think I’m having trouble comparing my options. I would love to be able to line up all my widget options between Pinnacle free, premium, Elementor, and Page Builder. I don’t need a super involved site, I’m not selling anything, just running a couple of blogs. I just want to be able to use all my tools on all my pages.

It depends on your preferences, I guess. I think page builder is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. I usually have one tab open that has the page I’m working on visible, and another tab where I make the edits.

Then, every time I save the changes, after saving them, I refresh the page to see if it looks like I want.

If you’re not finding widgets that work for you out of the box, I would look for plugins that fit your needs.

Let me know if that’s helpful. I’ll help you as much as I can, just let me know what you need.

That’s how I work in WordPress, too. To be honest, I just don’t know enough about how things work to be able to make adjustments quickly. I have to test something out to see what the result it and refresh it each time.

Looking at the Pinnacle Premium vs Free features list, I think I will be upgrading anyway. Then I can see how Pinnacle Premium works with Page Builder and whether or not I still prefer Elementor.

    I appreciate your help, Kevin!

Alrighty! Just let me know. I will note that we have a 30 day refund policy, so if you find you don’t need premium, you’ll get your money back no questions asked.

Page builder works almost the same with the two themes. The main difference is the widgets included in Premium. There are a lot more. I’ll also note that WordPress is moving towards the Gutenburg editor which is shaping up to be somewhat of a page builder itself. You may be interested in taking a look at that:

Wow. Gutenberg looks interesting. And helpful. I look forward to watching it roll out.

Can’t beat the money back guarantee! I’m gonna have fun playing with the new features!
