Editing Page Visibility acts like named anchor

  • I’m trying to add a password to a page. If I am viewing all pages and click quick-edit, enter my password and save, it’ll just sit there and won’t actually save. If I click edit and then the visibility edit link, it jumps down, acting as if it’s a named anchor and the options never open up.

Any ideas why this is happening?

Oddly, I can quick-edit and add a password to the page if I do it through my ipod touch.

    TIA!

    Dan

  • I think it was a plugin conflict, not sure which one, but when I upgraded WP versions I had other issues. So when I deactivated all plugins and went one by one, I found one that caused it. I think it was a Google Position Yourself plugin…but not 100% sure.

Just putting this out there in case it helps anyone else…
