 * I used to know how to do this, but I have forgotten, since this is not something
I have to do very often. On my left sidebar, I have a newsletter sign up form,
but I have dropped the newsletter because of costs, so I would like to remove
the sign up. I believe it involved inserting a bit of code somewhere, but I cannot
recall where, or how to remove it. Advice appreciated.

 * Chances are that the form is in a widget. Log in to the Dashboard and go to Appearance-
   >Widgets. Locate the widget, click in the title bar and drag it off the sidebar.
