# Editing mode stopped functioning

 * After editing my website for a few days, suddenly it changes to a weird editing
   mode which doesn’t actually operate at all. Clicking on any button simply doesn’t
   work and most tools are unavailable – nothing registers at all – therefore there
   is no way of editing my website.
 * What is the remedy for this?
