    Hi everyone,

Is there a way to edit the text for the <!–more–> tag? So that the link would read something like “Read More Here” instead of just “more…”

    podz,

Thanks for the help. What I really wanted to do was have the link use text that would vary from post to post. Its not a big deal really, just something I thought would be neat.
Thank you VERY much for the help.

I see what you mean…but I don’t recall a plugin or anything else that would alter that on such a basis.

    Plugin anyone ?

hmmm, perhaps I have inspired some plugin work 😉

You can use the Get Custom Field Values plugin. Check out the example section: http://www.coffee2code.com/archives/2004/06/30/plugin-get-custom/#examples

The last example describes how to do what you want. You would need the plugin, obviously, and a simple tweak to your index.php.

I just found an image and called it instead. It looked a lot more professional and took little effort on my part.

Well let me rephrase that, on the 1.2 I called an image, but since upgrading the option is really no longer feasible since themes usually aren’t including it in the new index.php’s that are coming out.
