editing links on side…

  • Where can I go to edit the links that appear on the side of the WordPress page? I have the blog appearing in a page outside of my website and I would like to be able to creat links on the side somewhere that have the other pages of the site.
Also, how can I put a background into the page? I changed the background color and header image, etc. in the CSS page within the admin section but when I put in a url(‘image.gif’)…. into the body {} section of the CSS it didn’t show up.
How can I get an image to show up for the background of the WordPress page?

  • It would help to have a link. It would help to know which theme you are using.
Your theme’s sidebar.php is usually where the links are .

sorry about that. I found out why the background wasn’t showing up though. It seems like it’s not an instant update when you change the code. I just waited a little longer and it changed for me.
I’m using the default theme and the address is:

    http://www.landymore.ca/mercyblog

I’ll be in the process of updating and changing the graphics to keep that in mind if anything is off. 🙂

okay, I got everything I needed. It should be good to go.

    Thanks for the help.
