# Editing Lessons

 * Hi,
 * Just wanted to share that in order to create lessons, you need to click the Update
   button (upper right)on your course page first. Then, when you go to your lesson,
   there should be an edit (pencil) icon that will allow you to go in and edit/add
   content to the lesson.
 * Authors!! This small detail seems to be overlooked.
 * 1. Create the Course
    2. Enter your section name 3. Create your lesson titles
   4. Press the Update button 5. Edit your lessons
 * Hope this helps, took me about an hour to figure out I needed to hit the update
   button

   notice to something like that to warm user must update course before edit lesson.
