    Hi Paul,

Awesome plugin, I was just having trouble changing the word “karma” to points in my child theme.

I copied /templates/achievements/achievements/loop-achievements.php into /wp-content/themes/CHILD_THEME/, and then edited that copied file.

I assumed the WordPress hierarchy would override the loop-achievement.php file, but I’m still learning how to use a child theme so I know it was my error.

Any help would be much appreciated thank you,
    Nicholaus

    It needs to be /wp-content/themes/CHILD_THEME/achievements/thefile.php.

    Try that

I tried that and it has yet to change. Any other ideas? Any chance in a future update we’ll be able to choose between points or karma?

Also on a side note, any chance there will be a leaderboard option in future update?

Thank you for your help and congrats on such an awesome plugin,
    Nicholaus

There won’t ever be an option to change the labels of things on the templates. The idea is to just edit the templates, as you’re trying.

Leaderboard is coming in next major release (hopefully by end of month).

Assuming that you are not using any page caching or anything else non-standard, I suppose it might be something to do with the fact that you’re using a child theme. I will test that this weekend/next week and see if it works as expected.

Very cool, I look forward to the leaderboard for sure.

Sorry for the trouble btw, I tried a bunch of different things and still can’t get it to change to points.

I even tried not using the child theme and it still wouldn’t change. I must be doing something wrong. If you could write out a step by step for changing “karma” to “points” that would be super helpful.

Thank you for your help and support,
    Nicholaus
