Editing home page on a theme

I am currently working with the http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/sun-city theme. I am wanting to add content and pictures to my home page, but I am not sure how do that. When I go to my dashboard I do not see a page called my home page. I am trying to get away from the whole blog theme, and will be using my site for a small business. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There isn’t a default home page template within Sun City as it’s a standard blog theme which assumes that many people will want to show a list of their most recent posts on their home/front page. If that’s what you want, simply create your posts normally and the theme will do the rest.

However, you can create your own static home page if you want to. Use Admin/Page/Add New to create and publish a new page for the front of your blog.

    Then navigate to Admin/Settings/Reading

Under “Front page displays”, check “static page”, choose your new WordPress home page from the dropdown and then save your changes.
