I think the new v3.5 is going to answer a lot of my probems with editing my photo galleries. But, when I try to add to an existing gallery or add images when creating a new gallery, the majority of the images already in my media library are ‘greyed out’. No thumbnails. I’ve tried creating the galery then going back into it to add images but they’re still not showing up.

    Any ideas?

Also, is it possible to create a gallery that automatically brings in images that have been allocated with either tags or categories (or something similar)? Thanks

I don’t know about the thumbnail issue, but Shiba Media Library is a great plugin for tagging images (and creating galleries frm tags). The downside to the plugin is that it’s not in the repository, so you have to check back every so often to see if there are updates (you won’t get notifications of updates, so you have to remember to check every now and again). But it’s an excellent plugin (and yes, it’s free), with great support. I’ve used it for years in many sites.
