Editing footer.php

    @mandarke

    Could anyone advise me how to customise the footer.php to include my name and a link to my site (i.e. what script do I need to write?) Any help for this would be thoroughly appreciated and responded to with jubilant praise and thanksgiving.

  • You don’t need any “script”. Just the good old basic HTML – should I say HTML 101?

    http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp – see the Links on the left.

    Created by <a href="http://yoursitesurl">Your Name</a>
    That should help you out.

    Exuberant appreciation guys – one additional question – do these suggestions still apply if I am altering the footer.php of a particular theme, in this case K2? (If it is any use, my site is http://www.mycareer.whateverhappened2tv.tv) Thanks again!

    Yeah they should, because HTML is used in all themes, well at least to accomplish what I think you want to do.

    Anyway I see the created thing in your footer, so it looks like you got it right. BTW make sure that theme allows you to remove the copyright as not all of them do..
