I’m pretty new to wordpress and coding so any help is greatly appreciated.

I have successfully figured out how to edit the footer. I edited it in the footer.php. The issue I am having is that I only changes on the home page. I would like to change it for all pages.

I went to the page.php but it only says get footer, so I assume it should get the edited version.

Can anyone tell me the fix for this?

Are you using a child theme? You definitely should not be modifying theme files or all of your changes will be lost when the theme is updated –

I decided to look at the site on my phone and it looks like the footer is correct and it’s the date time info on the post that I actually need to edit.

The other thing is that the mobile theme background color is set to black and not the color of the theme. Why is it different and how do I edit that?

You’ll also need to post a link to your site for help with CSS questions.

I am not as of yet. I have only edited the footer file so far, I will incorporate a child theme before I do more edits.

Definitely get a child theme set up now – it gets much harder after you’ve modified the theme files.
