    Hi there,

Is it possible to make the text that shows up under “episode notes” in the iOS podcast app, to be different than the episode’s blog post?

At first I thought it was the text you could put into the iTunes Summary feature that would populate this area, but upon testing I realized that text shows up above the episode notes and below the title.

What’s the best way of addressing this?

The iTunes Summary is used only by the iTunes desktop application, not the iOS Podcasts app. Functionality will be added to PowerPress soon to allow for show notes that show up in the Podcasts app to be different from those posted on your website. Per the lead developer of PowerPress, that functionality will be added to PowerPress hopefully by Q2 of next year.

For now, the only way it can work is for the information entered into your main blog post to also be shown in the Podcasts app.

Glad to know this feature is on its way, thank you Shawn.
