    Hello,
I have recently moved from WordPress.com to WordPress.org and my hosting company did my migration. I have just realised that any links within pages published prior to the move still link back to my old URL, as do all the image URLs. My hosting company say that this can be fixed by doing a global search and replace on my database. They have offered to do this for me but I am keen to learn how to do things for myself, so I can better understand how everything works on my website.
Can someone point me in the right direction for a tutorial on this, or give me some basic pointers on which file(s) to edit and how to do so?
    Thanks in advance,
    Vohn

Thanks. I decided it was all too confusing and asked my hosting company to do it for me! Thanks for your help.

Hosting company couldn't do it. Am now fixing it manually myself. Any help with a quicker method would be much appreciated!
