Editing Core Files Of PlatForm Free

  • Hey Guys,

I’m trying to edit core files in the new Pagelines theme Platform (the free version). I can’t seem to access things like style.CSS, index.php, header.php, and so on. How do I edit those files with raw code?

  • Bump. This is pretty urgent. For example, the header on laptopmemo.com is above the nav in a way where there is empty space. Anyone out here?

    Bumpy bump.

[mod: please don not bump – it is against the forum rules and won’t get you any faster replies.

    Hey there,
    just saw this.
The correct way to edit the core files, so that you can still upgrade, is using a child theme.

This way you can use ‘hooks’ to insert code, without fear of things being overwritten by updates.
