I need help editing the home page of my WordPress run website. I did not create the site originally, but I run it now.

    This is my website: http://www.gpaxterras.org

I need to know how to edit the main image up top with the keystone and the words “Greater Philadelphia Area Xterras”.

I searched in the theme section, but I am not well versed in the WordPress software.

Please help me and thank you.

You will need to go to /wp-content/themes/alpine/images/frame_top.jpg
it is all one image, so if you want to edit the words you are best having the original seperates of the file if you cannot get them then lets hope you are good with photoshop.

Thank you. After I edit the file in Photoshop, how or where do I replace it in WordPress?

If you replace it and keep the naming convention the same, i.e save it to /wp-content/themes/alpine/images/frame_top.jpg and keep the same name you will not need to do any thing else, as it is already selected as that item for your header image.

Ok, last question. How do I re-save the file (frame_top.jpg) after I edit it? Or rather, where do I re-save the file?

If you save it anywhere on you computer, named as frame_top.jpg then via ftp upload it to /wp-content/themes/alpine/images/ just put it into this folder it might ask you if you want to overwrite the exsisting file, say yes.
If you do not have ftp access, then save it via you file manager in your servers control panel.
