# Editing a Template and inserting a JavaScript

 * Hello,
 *  I want to edit a template in order to insert a Java script.I read that you can
   insert Javascript into Templates.
 * I am hosting on WordPress’s free blog server.
 * So How do I
 *  a) Access the template php’s in the Server and download them ?
    b) Upload the
   modified template back to the Server.

 * I have never used the wordpress.com free hosting, but I am pretty sure you cannot
   do such edits unless you have wordpress installed manually on your own host. 
   you can edit your css though.
