    My boss had a website created by a local person who didn't complete the job and he is obviously not happy with the end result. I now have the job of trying to fix it with very little knowledge of how! I have managed to add a facebook and twitter button but my boss also wants to change the image at the top left of the page and I can't work out where to find it. Any help for this and anything else I should know would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you,

    Sorry, obviously I have no idea! I was trying to add the website address and have managed to link all of that sentence. The site address is http://www.auslink.net.au/

    If you're lucky, you might be able to change/add all those via the admin panel.

    If this is a well-designed theme, it should have a theme option area for you to adjust stuff.

    You may also want to check if you're logging in through an administrator account. If you're using a lesser account, you may not be seeing many things.

    If not, you'd have to login through FTP and edit the files themselves directly.

    That'd take some HTML and more often than not, PHP knowledge as well.

    This has lots of good information:

    That image is set as a background image in the style.css file:

    #logo {
        background-image: url("images/logo.png");
        height: 76px;
        left: 53px;
        position: absolute;
        top: 46px;
        width: 320px;

    It might be easiest to simply replace the image (name it the same thing "logo.png") with a new one of the same size. It looks like it should be located in a file named images (duh - but not all sites have that structure - though it's certainly fine). Using one the same size is probably best, but you could change the height and width on the above if need be.

    Thanks so very much for your help, I have managed to change it. The image is still a little big but I'm working on it. A bit scary as everything is 'live'....next project, how to create a sandbox! Thanks again.
