# Editing a Published Post

 * I cannot edit any of my posts. When I try the editor page brings up a blank grey
   block covering my post. What is going on?

 * Can you take a screenshot?
 * Also, try turning off all your plugins, and see if you can edit.

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.

 * Thanks all for the replies. I did find the culprit and it was a plug-in. I took
   everybodys suggestions and deactivated my plug-ins and reactivated them one by
   one until I found the problem one (links builder plugin). I am BACK IN BUSINESS!!!!!!!
