edited something in appearance; editor and its messed up website

Hi, Help somebody in wordpress land……
I was not sure where to post this.
I wanted to edit our name and link to our national news site; I went into appearance; editor and sidebar-right.php
now this message comes up on each of the web pages:Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting ‘,’ or ‘;’ in /home/cawlocal/www/www/wp-content/themes/modernize/sidebar-right.php on line 54
i was in Modernize: sidebar-right.php and i edited our name change:
‘<h2>News from UNIFOR National</h2>’;
$firstDiv = ‘first’;
// $result = class_wordpress::getInfo2(”, 10, $offset, $rowsPerP);
$xmlUrl = “http://www.unifor.org/en/whats-new/news/XML feed file/URL”the first part UNIFOR National worked and showed up fine on the web pages, but when I added “http://www.unifor.org/en/whats-new/news/ for the link; it messed everything up.
We had hired a web design company to design and host our site, but they closed up their company and i am up the creek…..HELP.
