Support » Networking WordPress » Edited index.php caused blank pages for all sites

I have a standard multisite setup with ~10 blogs running and while trying to correct an RSS issue on one particular theme I decided to edit the network root folder’s index.php file. It caused the blog that I was working on to go blank so I returned the index file to its original state and uploaded it back to root. Well, not only did it not fix the blank page for the blog I was working on, but it blanked out ALL blogs on the network. I can login to the admin pages but all the blogs are blank. What could be the problem? I tried restarting Apache and re-uploading wp-includes and wp-admin with no success.

Blank pages mean it’s a php error.

Check the file permissions on that file, as well as ownership.

Thanks for your help. The issue was that there was a php error in the header file where I left a bit of code. Strangely enough though I needed to do an upgrade to 3.2.1 in order for WP_DEBUG to work correctly and display the error.
