 * Hi I have been using elementor on many of my sites here is a new issue that arose.
The “edit with elementor” button is no longer at the top of the admin bar nor
is it one of the options that it had been under each page and post. Please let
me know if something changed or if I have to update a setting.
    2. Also, if I
edit a page in the wordpress editor and then elementor and then I make changes
to the page that is in the wordpress editor – the elementor version does not
get updated and it has the old content. Is this issue going to be resolved? thanks
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fedit-with-elementor-issues%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * You can not go back and forth between editors. I learned this about a week ago.
I also found that if I have a text box and make changes in the displayed text
on the page rather than the edit box in the left column, those changed are not
update, even if I hit the update button.
Pick one editor and stay with that.
Per your Elementor buttons disappearing, did you check your plugin area to see
if the plugin is still active?

 * it would be great if both editors worked together…
    and that I don’t have 2 copies
of the same page. Esp. since I cannot use elementor with the podcast player that
I am using and I need to update it in the wordpress editor.
 * Regarding elementor – I can use it – it is active. But it is just not appearing
in the admin bar or under a post or page with the other edit options. I need
to open a page to see the elementor option
 * thanks for responding.

 * Just curious but how do you have 2 copies of the same page?
    How would they display
unless the page names were different?
 * I learned the hard way, WP has one complete area for the page while Elementor
has multiple sections per page, that’s why once you go to Elementor, you should
not go back to WP editor.

 * I cannot view live both pages. But if I save the elementor page than that one
is live and then if I go back in and edit the wp editor page and save then that
   one is the live one.
I think Elementor should do what wp bakery did and be more
   integrated with the wp editor.

 * The main problem I see is the orientation flexibility Elementor offers. You define
your number of columns and sections on the fly. Personally, this is much easier
than adding widgets or changing the template. Considering your plugin only works
with WP, why not just leave that page as a WP page and do all your editing in
WP? It’s not a perfect solution but it would work until you find a compatible
   replacement plugin.
As a caution, I would recreate that one page from scratch
with WP and then stay out of Elementor for that page. Going back and forth may
   create some unknown conflicts.
 * I tried to transfer my older WP site to Elementor a couple weeks ago and ran
into all sorts of issues. That’s when LogoLogics, a knowledgful and helpful poster,
enlightened me about the vast WP/Elementor conflicts. Her advice saved me a lot
   of time.
    Good Luck

 * As Les stated before, on one same page, stick to wp editor or use Elementor and
stick with that choise to avoid trouble and confusion.
 * I see the confusion has already begun, because you are under the impression that
you are creating two different pages on the same page, let me assure you, you
   are not.
 * Just start clean on that page ( remove all code that you can check while clicking
on the “text” tab in WP default editor, and then create that page with default
   editor OR Elementor, not both.

 * I understand this – but I would like to use elementor for a page where I am also
using smart podcast player which I can only set up the short code while using
the wordpress editor – so it would be nice for the possibility to interchange
between the 2. So in this case I am using the wp editor and not elementor and
I used css and coded in divs for all the items that I would have used elementor
   for.

 * newbee, I may be misunderstanding but have you tried the “Short Code” element
   in Elementor.
I use this for things like sliders and haven’t had any issues.
I was going to try your plugin but I see it’s a paid version.
