• My Gutenberg Version is still 14.7.3. I tried to update it while there is a new release, but I found out all versions after 14.7.3 has problem on editor view for my pages ( my pages has been edited by elementor) . My old block editor view for my page is: Title, then the “Edit wtih Elementor” button. After Gutenberg version 14.7.3 above, my page title disappeared, and replaced by a “Edit with Elementor” button, and it is non clickable, I saw the url has a # added only.

I tried every time after Gutenberg release a new update, but still the same problem. Does anyone here has the same problem? If I didn’t update Gutenberg the pages looks fine in block editor view.

Any idea or suggestion how can I fix it? I really want to update the Gutenberg plugin to latest version….

Hi @christinacatwoo I checked the button on my site and it’s showing as expected as shown in this screenshot. My site is using the Twenty Twenty-Three theme and I only have the latest version of Gutenberg + Elementor enabled. Can you please check the button after changing to a default WP theme + the two plugins enabled?
This might be a plugin or theme conflict.

These are both page-building plugins and I think it is very unlikely that developers would be able to spend time on how the other looks on their editor.

@thelmachido Thank you for the reply. I saw your screen, my post are same as your screen. I use elementor create template and use block editor for the post content, never click that blue button before, so it looks same as your screen, no problem.

The problem part is those pages after I click that button. Just need to click ONCE. Once I click that button, it will bring me to the elementor view, when I exit elementor view, it will bring me back to the block editor view, and the blue button usually shows at the middle, under the page title. If I update the plugin to after 14.7.3 version, the place that shows my title is replaced by the same blue button like the one in the middle of the page, but no link on it, click on it won’t open elementor. So what you will see is two blue buttons vertically lining up.

Same thing happened if you just click “Edit” but not “Edit with Elementor”, it will bring you to the same page with 2 blue buttons. That’s why I rollback to 14.7.3 version, which is the latest version didn’t have this problem on my site.

Am I the only one has this problem?

Hi @christinacatwoo thank you for providing more information, have you disabled other plugins and enabled a default Twenty * theme to see if the issue persists?
If the issue persists after troubleshooting, kindly reach out to Elementor developers so that they can check the buttons.
