 * Hello,
    I’m trying to set up a home page with a link to an affiliate program.
   At the botoom of the page there is a “Edit This Entry” that actually appears 
   on the website. Can anybody tell me what that is and how I can get rid of it.

    Never mind, I got it. The Edit This Entry does not appear on
   the actual website, only on the editing program within WordPress. Sorry for the
   bother. Thanks, golfcomp
 * P.S. However, if you could tell me how to delete a post.

 * you can delete a post by following these steps
 * go to post-> edit-> hover on the post which you want to delete,
 * you will get option delete there.
 * click on delete.
