    Hi,

I am in the process of making a page with the ‘Media & text’ blocks: a photo with text on the side, right or left. I would like to know how to make this block wider, bigger and smaller (normally you would be able to drag with mouse to make something wider/narrower etc. The text that I want to have next to the photo is now forced to be shown with around 3/4 words per line. The only way I can give the text more room now, is to make the photo smaller, which I don’t want to do because it will be too small. Please help? What is the use of these block types if you cant make them the way you want, which is screen wide?

    Thanks very much!

    Andrea.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Just to add: I have tried to make the page full width and pagebuilder, after it being the standard template. Nothing makes the text part of the block wider. I just want to be able to adjust it any way I want. Hope someone has tips!

    Thanks in advance. 🙂

    Hi there,
These are generic WordPress blocks that provide some basic functionality. There are tons of other blocks and block plugins that might have the functionality you want. Currently this is quite complex to just edit the block and alter it, so I suggest using another block (check our collection here https://wordpress.org/plugins/gutenbee/) or use a free page builder like Elementor (elementor.com) to actually achieve what you want.
