# Edit Text Editor – Style Issues

 * Edit Text Editor – all tools work fine if page is set to Elementor Canvas.
    If
   set to Default or No Sidebar, some editing tools work, some do not:
 * Not working: Text Color, Size, Weight, Line Height
 * Working: Alignment, Font Family, Transform, Style, Letter Spacing
 * The tools that do not work on the Text Widget DO work on Headers; however, Headers
   don’t provide the needed line breaks, so obviously they can’t substitute for 
   Text Widget.
 * If page is set to Elementor Canvas all formatting tools work. If you save and
   switch back to No Sidebar, the previously applied formatting goes away.
 * Nothing appears as disabled and no error messages are encountered.
 * I’m using the latest version of Elementor (just downloaded 3 days ago). Awesome
   tool.
