# Edit specific post by URL

 * I have a custom post edit form on an elementor page. I have another page that
   displays all the posts of that custom post type. Is there a way to create a URL
   so I can put it on a button to edit that specific custom post?

 * If you can pass the post id with the post update form, then you can select the
   post id from the UTM using default value section; please check the [screenshot](https://prnt.sc/RPiIROm-APNO).
 * In this way, you can create a button on every post which redirects to your post
   update form with post id as query parameter.
