 * When we try to edit a page, post, or custom post type on our website the page
   freezes before crashing giving either a code hung up error or an out of memory
   error. We originally chalked this up to a Yoast SEO plugin issue as an update
   to the plugin fixed the issue.
 * The issue has now appeared again. If we disable Yoast SEO (premium & normal v20.5)
   then the edit screen no longer crashes, but our ACF Pro (v6.1.3) extra fields
   completely disappear where they should appear. If we completely disable the WP
   Hide & Security Enhancer (v2.0.4) then both the edit screen crashing and the
   ACF Pro extra fields issues are both resolved.
 * Our developer/site host would prefer not to have this plugin disabled on our
   site but that appears to be the only way we can edit anything and still have
   access to our extra fields.
 * Is there any steps or processes we can go through with this plugin to fix this?
   We are running our site with WordPress version 6.2 and Blocksy theme version
   1.8.82.
 * To diagnose we did deactivate all plugins and reactivate them one by one to figure
   out which plugin was the main culprit with the issues.

 * Hi,
   I tried to replicate the issue on a similar instance but couldn’t encounter
   any problems. Can you create a short video to describe the issue?Also, try to
   disable the WP Hide options to determine if something is particular that won’t
   work with your environment.
 * Thanks

 * Hello Maya,
 * Thank you for getting back to us. Our developer was finally able to look at this
   issue more in depth for us (they setup the settings for the plugin). For some
   reason, it seems to be the wp-admin masking that started causing the issue because
   once that setting was turned off after reactivating the plugin our edit screen
   works. Everything loads properly with no more crashing.
 * Originally, once we tried to edit any post or page in our backend, which worked
   completely fine up until last week except for a small hiccup which an update
   to a plugin fixed last month, the screen would immediately freeze and then crash
   with either a code hangup error message or out of memory error message.
 * Advanced Custom Fields Pro would load briefly and disappear and Yoast SEO & SEO
   Premium would enter a loop of death.

 * Hi,
   Sorry but tried all kind of different things but couldn’t replicate the problem.
   If you see a random Out of Memory message, you may be right on the edge with
   the server allocated memory. Try to increase it. See the following article [https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/fix-wordpress-memory-exhausted-error-increase-php-memory/](https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/fix-wordpress-memory-exhausted-error-increase-php-memory/)
   or check with your hosting.
 * Alternatively, if you own the WP Hide PRO consider to contact our support team
   so they take care of that problem for you.
 * Thanks
